W.Ming Art (www.wmingart.com) is seeking part-time interns to provide support to administrative operation and the ecommerce development.  This internship is ideal for candidates with an interest in modern and contemporary art/design and e-commerce. The internship starts immediately.

Responsibilities:

·      Assist the director and manager with ecommerce branding, marketing, vendor liaison and product development

·      Assist the director and manager with social media promotion and e-newsletters

·      Assist with research projects in modern and contemporary art

·      Work with the director and manager with upcoming exhibitions

·      Conduct guided field trips and research at museums and galleries in New York

·      Data entry into contact database

Competencies:

·      B.A. in arts administration, art history, communication, marketing or a related field preferred

·      Knowledge and previous experience in e-commerce preferred

·      Strong attention to detail

·      Ability to work with team as well as independently

·      Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required

·      Excellent verbal and written skills required
